The <br />requesting the Commission's approval of the Sales <br />t for the lot upon which a parsonage will be con- <br />. The adjoining lot is proposed for associated <br />but is not part of the Sales Agreement under con - <br />on. The Sales Agreement with Layman Chappel was <br />on motion by Mr. Helmen and seconded by Mr. Kompar. <br />h. CHANGE ORDER NO. 3: The Commission had pre- <br />viously discussed and approved Change Order No. 3 to the <br />site improvement work, LaSalle Park Project, R -57, but <br />such action inadvertently was omitted from previous minutes. <br />The Charge Order involves the deletion of sidewalks along <br />the North side of Linden Street. The Change Order received <br />Commission approval, on motion by Mr. Kompar and seconded <br />by Mr. Lelmen. <br />i. PROPOSALS RECEIVED FOR PREPARING SITES SELECTED <br />BY THE SOUTH BEND HOUSING CORPORATION: The Commission, at <br />a previous meeting, agreed to remove poor soil conditions <br />located in the subject building sites, which'.s required` <br />prior tc construction. The South Bend Housing Corporation <br />purchased the sites involved for the purpose of construct- <br />ing 150 rent supplement housing units. The staff received <br />proposals from Woodruff and Sons, Inc., at a cost of $71,355.06; <br />and froff Ritschard Bros., Inc., at a cost of $74,500.00. <br />Awarding of a contract would be contingent upon the South Bend <br />Housing Corporation selecting a general contractor. The <br />Commission selected the low bid of Woodruff and Sons, Inc., upon <br />motion hy Mr. Kompar and seconded by Mr. Helmen.
