5. BID <br />Z REAL ESTATE R -7 <br />The Commission voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 134 which RESOLUTION 134 <br />authorizes the acceptance.of bid of Howard F. and Bonnie L. Harris, <br />for Parcel 5, Sample Street Project, R -7, at 15.5 per square foot <br />and is 981333 square feet, upon the receipt of the check in the <br />full amount of $14,241.62, and subject to favorable acceptance of <br />vacation of alley. The motion was made by Mr. Kompar, and seconded <br />by Mr. Koczan. <br />6. <br />E <br />It was me tioned that none of the Commissioners present will be MADISON,WISCON- <br />available to attend the Madison, Wisconsin meeting, May 22 -24, 1966,SIN May 22 -24, <br />which is eing held as the annual meeting of North Central NAHRO. 1966 <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. :Upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Koczan, THIRD REUSE <br />the Commi sion voted to approve execution of the third reuse APPRAISAL R -57 <br />appraisal contract for the LaSalle Park Project, R -57, which is <br />awarded to North Central Appraisal Company in the amount of $3,000, <br />to be completed in 30 days. <br />b. The Commission unanimously approved Resolution 133, upon RESOLUTION 133 <br />the motion made by Mr, Koczan, and seconded by Mr. Kompar, which <br />authorizes the Commission to execute temporary loan note in the <br />amount of $340,000 from the federal government, to be used for <br />operating expenses until D.H.U.-D. approval is given to advertise <br />for bids Opon the open market for a much larger amount of money. <br />C. In the interest of speeding up the approval of the acqui- SPECIAL COM- <br />sition work in the LaSalle Park.Project, the Commission unanimously MISSION MTG. <br />approved he motion made by Mr. Koczan, and seconded by Mr.Kompar, May 26, 1966 <br />that a special meeting be held for the Commission on Thursday, <br />May 26, 1966, in the office of the Redevelopment Department, at <br />10:30 A.M to review and approve fifty (50) completed acquisition <br />appraisal The appraisals will then be taken immediately to the <br />Chicago o fice for expeditious review and concurrence in preparation <br />for acqui ition of properties in the project. <br />8. PROGiESS REPORTS <br />a. lCommunity Development Roundtable. The Community Develop — RECENT <br />ment Roun table, under the auspices of the United Community Services,C00RDINATED <br />sponsored a Coordinated Community Development Workshop at the COMMUNITY <br />University of Notre Dame. A better understanding of each partici DEVELOPMENT <br />pating agency's work .and its contribution to the,city, was acquired WORKSHOP <br />by each participant. Four Redevelopment staff members attended this <br />Workshop, and the registration was '$4.00 for each participant. <br />b. Rehabilitation, LaSalle Park, R -57. A detailed form is REHABILITATION <br />being ;re ared by the staff in order to accomplish a more formal LASALLE PARK <br />inspectio of all homes to be rehabilitated in the LaSalle Park <br />-3- <br />
