Gentlemen: - We will be pleased to renew our contract for the thirty (30)Welsbach Bou- levard gas lamps we are now operating in what is known as River Park, the lamps to be lighted every might and burn from dusk to 12 o'clock midnight, we to furnish all gas, mantles, glassware and other supplies necessary for the prbper operation of said lamps, it being understood that the City of South Bend. is to furnish and pay a max for light- ing, extinguishing, cleaning and caring for said lamps, contract to be for five years. commeneing May first,1913, and ending April ';;Oth. 1919, at the rate of $16.00 per lamp per year. We will ali;9 install and operate in River Park during the life of this con- tract additional lamps.as above at the sai ' ne rate of compensation, it being understood, however,, that all. lamps when once installed are to remain in service until the expir- atiox of the contract. This proposition is intended to conform with your advertisement for street lighting hereto attached.
