The Commission approved the motion by Mr. Helmen,, R -29 REINVEST <br />seconded by Mr. Kompar, that approximately $70,000 be IN U.S. TREAS- <br />reinvested in U. S. Treasury Bills for the Chapin Street URY BILLS <br />Project R -29, for a period of six months. <br />C. I diana Urban Renewal Association. I.U.R.A. will meet I.U.R.A. Workable Program. The Workable Program for Community WORKABLE PROGRAM <br />Improvement for South Bend is due in Chicago on December 1, <br />1965. The Program is submitted under the Mayor's signature, <br />however the Mayor has assigned the preparation to the <br />'Redevelopment Department. Prior to submission to the Chicato <br />URA Office, the Common Council will have to vote on the <br />Workable Program submission at it's regular meeting, November <br />22, 1965. <br />b. Semple Street Project, R -7. The site improvements have R -7 FINAL <br />all been qonstructed in accordance with Change Orders 5, 6 and 7. INSPECTION <br />Inspectior and approval of the site improvements were made by <br />representatives of the City Engineer, Charles Cole and Son, <br />and the Redevelopment Department on November 16, 1965. <br />C. Survey and Planning Application, Central Core. R -39. R -39 SURVEY AND <br />It can be assumed the Application for Survey and Planning of the PLANNING <br />Central Core Area is substantially acceptable, but the submission <br />of the La alle Park R -57, Part I Application, with our request <br />for urgeni priority, might delay final approval of the Survey <br />and .Planning Application. <br />d.
