Board met in regular hearing at :1:45 P.M. All members present. Hearing given onDeclaratory Resolution No. 192 for a Trunk Sewer on Olive Street and Mi chi gan Avenue from Longley Avenue on Olive Street to Mi chi gan Avenue and 1436 North westerly on Michigan Avenue. In the above matter remonstrat°ors appeared and a remonstrance was filed Therefore be it resolved that the Board find that in each and every case in said Improve- ment that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, eIDnfi rme d and approved. Be it resolved, that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 29th. of July and on the 5th. day of August 1912 to the effect that said Board will 'receive bids for the construction of said Improvement UP to 10:00 A.M. on the 16th. day of August,1912. The Board. reserve-, the right to reject any and all bids. In ., the. ratificstion,.of.the foregoing resolution Per. Otto C. Bastian and Mr. Charles Niedbalski voting yea. Mr. Francis Lambert voting nay, reason is assigned for said negative by Mr. Lambert - was to the effect that he objected to the tiring up of some Three Thousand (3000) feet of g6od road at the present time, also he did not consider it nece-,sa,ry to construct sewer that distant for the benefit of four resident property holders. /—Iiearing given on Decla,rat.ory Resolution No. 18;F for Pipe Sewer on Linden Avenue and Carlisle Street and Sadie Street. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remonstrances were -filed All action on the Name was deferred until Tuesday August the9'th. 1912 at 7:45;,P.Meo PFiei,riigg given on Declaratory Resolution No. 191 for Pavement on lit. Alley N. of North Shore Drive from Mi chi gan Street to Lafayette Street. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. Therefore be it resolved th.nt the Board find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits.to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvement and hhe same are hereby in all things rati- fied, confirmed and approved. Hearing given o n Declaratory Resolution No. 184 for Grade, curb and walk on Lincoln Street from Mi chi gan Avenue to Quincy Street, In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrators were filed. Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated -cost of said improvement and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Be it -resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Times on the 29th. day of July 19.12 and on the 5th. day of August,1912 to the effect that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to .10:00 A.M. on the. 16th. day of August21912 the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids . Nearing given on Declaratory Resolution No. 187. for Grade, Curb and walk on Nineteenth Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk R.R. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits= to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the esti- mated cost of said improvement and the same are hereby in all things ratified,confirmeda,d and approved.
