WORK HOURS PER DAY <br />Section III. (A) Eight (8) hours shall <br />constitute a day's work, from 7:00 a.m. <br />to 3:30 p.m. with the consent of the <br />Union Representative. Starting time <br />may begin between the hours of 6:00 <br />a.m. and 9:00 a.m. by written notice to <br />the Union Representative. The workers <br />must be dressed and ready to work at the <br />designated starting time. <br />(B) Changes in the work hours per day, <br />in special cases, and/or changes in the <br />normal work day, not however to exceed <br />an eight (8) hour day, may be made to <br />meet special conditions upon application <br />to and approval of the General Executive <br />Board. If proof of application is not <br />submitted within twenty-four (24) hours <br />after the change of shift, all hours <br />worked will be paid at the appropriate <br />overtime rate, time and one half Monday <br />through Saturday and double time on <br />Sunday and Holidays. If there is a deviation <br />from the standard lunch break the <br />employee shall be paid at the prevailing <br />overtime rate for the half-hour normally <br />used for eating. <br />(D) No employee shall be scheduled <br />for more than sixteen (16) consecutive <br />hours without consent of a Union <br />Representative. <br />7 I 8 <br />
