u <br />JURISDICTION <br />Section I. It is agreed that the <br />jurisdiction of work covered by this <br />agreement is that provided for in the <br />charter grant, as amended, issued by The <br />American Federation of Labor to the <br />International Association of Bridge <br />Structural Ornamental and Reinforcing <br />Iron Workers. <br />Jurisdictional disputes will be settled <br />according to PLAN FOR THE <br />SETTLEMENT OF JURISDICTIONAL <br />DISPUTES IN THE CONSTRUCTION <br />INDUSTRY INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL RULF,S AND <br />REOiJLATIONi S approved by the <br />Building and Construction Trades <br />Department, AFL-CIO, shall be known <br />as "the Plan". When a jurisdictional <br />dispute involves any Union or Employer <br />not a party to the procedures established <br />by "the Plan" and is not resolved <br />between the Unions, it shall be referred <br />for resolution to the involved <br />International Unions, with which the <br />disputing Unions are affiliated. The <br />resolution of the dispute shall be reduced <br />to writing signed by representatives of <br />the involved International Unions and <br />the Employer. <br />TERRITORY <br />Section II. The territory covered by this <br />agreement shall be the territorial <br />jurisdiction of Local No. 395 which <br />extends from Lake Michigan on the <br />North to Route 114 South of Lake <br />Michigan on the South, and from the <br />Indiana -Illinois State Line on the West to <br />Three (3) Miles East of Indiana Route <br />No. 421 on the East. <br />5 1 6 <br />
