NEW PROJECT <br />Section XXXI. Whenever an employer <br />starts a new project within the jurisdictional <br />area of Local Union 395, the employer <br />or his representative shall notify the <br />Union as to the location of the new <br />project site. <br />If the above paragraph has not been <br />complied with, a pinion appointed <br />steward shall receive wages and benefits <br />for the entire length of time a steward <br />was not on the project for the duration <br />Ironworker work was occurring. <br />On major machinery installation <br />Projects, where ironworkers are involved <br />in the work and where millwrights are <br />required on standby, if there is any work <br />left to be performed by ironworkers or if <br />composite crews were used then a <br />sufficient number of ironworkers will be <br />left on standby to perform the work. <br />65 <br />PRE JOB <br />Section XXXII. If the Union or <br />Employer elects, a pre job conference <br />will be held at Local 395's Union Hall <br />prior to commencement of work. At the <br />pre job conference the Employer shall <br />advise the Union of its requirements as <br />to the workmen required in the <br />respective classification, the probable <br />starting date, duration of the job, and the <br />working schedules. <br />MATERIAL SORTING, <br />DISTRIBUTING AND <br />STORAGE POINTS <br />Section XXXIII. There shall be one (1) <br />or more, as is necessary, journeymen <br />employed on the maintenance of <br />reinforcing steel, including wire mesh, <br />while concrete is being poured.
