Place, and unanimously carried, approved the pro- ON MINORITY <br />posb6 change and addition to the minutes of September 21, HOUSING <br />1961, paragraph titled "Lack of Housing-for Minority PROBLEMS <br />Groups," to read as follows: <br />"Mr. Morris and Mrs. Curtis expressed their concern over <br />the lack of housing available for minority groups and large <br />families. A written recommendation was presented from the <br />Committee on Minority Housing Problems which requested <br />action by the Mayor and City Council towards finding housing <br />for displaced families. This Committee requested a joint <br />meeting between the Mayor, City Council, Housing Authority <br />and Urban Renewal Commission. This recommendation was <br />endo sed by the Commissioners present and they instructed <br />Mr. Baer, LPA Counsel, to contact the Mayor for such a <br />meeting.
