Koczan, seconded by Mr. Williams, and unani- <br />y carried, recommended that such a letter be <br />tted to the Housing Authority. <br />Mr. Sucher reported that two meetings with representa- <br />tives of the Park Board, Common Council, Housing Author- <br />ity and the South Bend Redevelopment Commission were <br />held, one on October 13th, the other October 18th. The <br />purpose was to coordinate the thinking of all groups <br />that will have to cooperate in the housing project on <br />the Oliver Playground and Chapin Street Renewal Project. <br />The method of land transfer among the agencies was <br />disc ssed and a meeting of the attorneys of the various <br />boar s was set for Monday, October 23rd, 2 o'clock, to <br />work out the details. <br />BOARDED <br />UP FHA <br />UNITS - <br />LASALLE <br />PARK <br />DISTRICT <br />The Commission concurred in the recommendation of the <br />Council members present at the two meetings that the <br />enti e Chapin Street Clearance Area be reserved for public <br />and zesidential use, eliminating the commercial area. <br />Meeting adjourned 12 N. <br />CHAPIN <br />STREET <br />PROJECT <br />v i <br />e G.
