VI. REQUISITION FOR CAPITAL GRANT PAYMENT <br />The Commission reviewed Forms HHFA -692 Requisition No. 2 for Project <br />Capital Grant Progress Payment, in the amount of $256,933, H -693 <br />Justification of Requisition for Project Capital Grant Progress <br />Payment and H -6205 Request for Consent to Transfer Funds. On motion <br />made by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Louis, and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission authorized the certification and submission of these <br />forms, covering Sample Street Project Indiana R -7, to the Urban <br />Renewal Administration. <br />VII. <br />The Commission reviewed Forms H -692 Requisition No. 3 for Relocation <br />Grant Payment in the sum of '$6,15'7.44 and H -6205 Request for Consent <br />to Transfer Funds. On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by <br />Mr. Koczan, and unanimously carried, the Commission authorized the <br />certification and submission of these reports, covering Sample Street <br />Project Indiana R -7, to the Urban Renewal Administration. <br />VIII. PROGRESS REPORT <br />The Commission approved H -666 Report of Relocation Progress H -666 <br />and H-6029 Monthly Report on Selected Urban Renewal Activi- H -6029 <br />ties for submission to the Housing & Home Finance Agency, <br />Chicago, Illinois. <br />Mrs. Josephine <br />Curtis, Member of Relocation Committee, <br />Relocation <br />Minority <br />Problems Committee and Urban Redevelopment Trustee, <br />& Minority <br />submitted <br />a report on problems encountered in relocation <br />Housing <br />and recommendations <br />for .their solution from Relocation and <br />Minority <br />Housing Committees. The Commission recommended <br />Mr. Sucher, <br />Mr. Louis and Mrs. Curtis go to Indianapolis to <br />work out <br />aids for the relocation problem with F.H.A. <br />Mr. Sucher <br />reported that, upon investigation, the Federal <br />LaSalle <br />advisers <br />suggested that the LaSalle Park Area appears too <br />Park <br />big for <br />a single project and might have to be undertaken <br />Area <br />under the <br />General Neighborhood Renewal Plan. No consider- <br />ation will <br />be given to the LaSalle Park Area by HHFA until <br />the Redevelopment <br />Department has completed planning for <br />Chapin <br />Street Area. In other words, considerable period of <br />time will <br />elapse before any action can be taken in the <br />LaSalle <br />Park Area. <br />-4- <br />
