PROGRESS REPORT (Continued) <br />The Commission <br />was informed that the Interstate Demolition <br />Request <br />Corporation <br />has made a request for payment for the work <br />for <br />they have <br />performed on the Sample Street Project Indiana <br />Demolition <br />R -7 up <br />to the present time. They list approximately 50 <br />Payment <br />buildings <br />as being demolished. Upon investigation, it is <br />determined <br />that demolition of these buildings is in various <br />states <br />of progress and the Commission, upon motion made by <br />Mr. Place, <br />seconded by Mr. Louis, and unanimously carried, <br />decided <br />that a policy of payment be hereby established as <br />follows: <br />90/ payment be made on structures on which all <br />demolition <br />and grading work is completed; 50/ payment where <br />structure <br />is down and debris cleaned out; 30/ payment where <br />structure <br />is down but debris is still there. <br />Mr. Sucher reported that Engineering involved on the Sample Engineering <br />Street Project should be started in the near future for site (Sample St.) <br />improvements on the area. Mr. Sucher stated he would consult <br />the City Engineer's Office and give a report regarding this <br />to the 2ommission. <br />Mr. Sucher advised the Commission that the State Board of <br />Accounts frowns on flat allowances on automobile travel <br />expense and recommend it be done on detailed mileage claim <br />basis.
