JONES: My next question is regarding <br />who is in the acquisition. If we want to <br />expand the church, is there going to be any <br />kind of stigmatism as to where we can go? <br />MR. GIBNEY: I doubt it. I would be very <br />honest and straight forward with you. The <br />firm that we have hired, HOK, to do the <br />planning, is the firm that actually designed <br />the ballpark many years ago. Their specialty <br />is not only ballparks, but how to create an <br />environment for economic development as <br />part of the integration between athletic <br />venues and neighborhoods and businesses <br />and residents. We're not trying to create a <br />sea of parking around a ballpark, but to <br />create an exciting environment right up to the <br />edge of the ballpark. So, you will certainly <br />be invited to all the meetings and we want <br />you to express what your goals are. <br />MR. MANIGAULT: My understanding of <br />this project, we're going to take Gates <br />Chevrolet, which is a tax paying entity, and <br />we're going to convert that property to an <br />entrance to the Coveleski Stadium, which is <br />owned by the South Bend Parks Dept. So, in <br />essence, is indeed that property coming off <br />the tax rolls and moving over to the public <br />rolls? <br />MS.
