Resolt <br />is <br />of <br />No. 53 <br />found and declared to be a blighted area within the meaning <br />Redevelopment of Cities and Towns Act, Chapter 176 of the Acts <br />of 1953, as supplemented by Chapter 173 of the Acts of 1957; that said <br />bligh ed area constitutes a menace to the social and Economic interests <br />of th City and its inhabitants, and it will be of public utility and <br />benefit to acquire such area and to redevelop the same under the <br />provisions of said acts. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all proceedings relating to <br />the acquisition and redevelopment of the above described area the sam- <br />shall1be referred to as "Chapin Street Redevelopment Project Area, <br />No. Iridiana R -29" <br />accorc <br />with t <br />R 2131 <br />in ac( <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the map of the area prepared in <br />with the provisions of the governing statutes, now on file <br />Commission, marked "Boundary Map, Chapin Street Project Area <br />Bl)," be and the same is hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the plat of the area prepared <br />ordance with the governing statutes and now on file with the <br />Commission, marked "Property Map, Chapin Street Project Area, R 213(Dl)" <br />be anc <br />propez <br />Area, <br />and sl <br />Chapin <br />be an( <br />the same is hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of the owners of the <br />y to be acquired, keyed to "Property Map, Chapin Street Project <br />R 222A," be and the same is hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the general redevelopment plan <br />cifications, marked "Urban Renewal Plan" and "Land Use Plan, <br />Street Project Area, R 213(Cl)," now on file with the Commission, <br />the same is hereby approved, and that the blighted area herein- <br />above described be acquired and redeveloped in accordance with said <br />maste$ plan. <br />-4- <br />
