Resolultion No. 53 estimated cost of acquiring the property in the blighted area herein- afterldescribed, determined by taking the average of the three separate appraisals is $1,035,265.00* now tlierefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission that the area located in the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, Statelof Indiana, which is bounded and generally described as follows: BEG2NNING at the intersection of the northerly right of way line of the New York Central Railroad and the western right of way line of Laurel Street. THENCE, in a northerly direction along the westerly right of way line of Laurel Street for a distance of 690'+ to the intersection with the northerly right of way line of Western Ave. THENCE, in an easterly direction along the northerly right of way line of Western Ave. for a distance of 1,340'± to the intersection with the easterly right of way line of Scott Street. THENCE, in a southerly direction along the easterly right of way line of Scott Street for a distance of 1,Q30" tv the intersection with the northerly right of.way line of the New York Central Railroad. THENCE, northwesterly along the north right of way line of the New York Central Railroad for a distance of 750'± to the intersection with the west right of way line of Chapin Street. THENCE, north along the west right of way line of Chapin Street for a distance of 87'+ to the intersection with the north property line of the Armour Company. THENCE, in a generally northwesterly direction along the north property line of the Armour Company to the inter- section with the east right of way line of Pine Street. THENCE, south along the east right of way line of Pine Street for a distance of 88'+ to the intersection with the north right of way line of the New York Central Railroad.
