'316 .IMPROVFAENT RESOLUTION N ). 120. A RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana; That; W111EREAS2A Petition has been submitted to the Board of Public Works by the resident freeholders on First Alley south of Washington Avenue from William Street To Taylor Street propsed to be improved, p ursuant to improvement resolution No 120 passed by the Board of Public Works on the loth. day of January 1912; and, Whereas, This Board of Public Works find that said petitioners have complied with all steps required by law, and that said petition contains the signatures of a majority of the resident freeholders on said Alley to be improved;now,THEREFORE, Be it resolved, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the said preliminary resolution be and is hereby modified in accordance with said petition so as to include said pavement so petitioned for, and the detail plans and specifications for said pavement as prepared by the City Engineer, are hereby ap- proved and adopted, and same are hereby incorporated 'herein, amd made a part of said preliminary resolution for the improvement of First Alley south of Washington Avenue from William Street to Taylor Street. Said imp rovement 'hall be ! k-nown and ° de si gnat ed as FT RST ALLEY SOUTH OF WASHINGT ?N AVENUE FROM WILLI AM STREET TO TAYLvR STREET BRICK PAVEiIA&9T IMPROVERENT NO. 120. and shall be constructed according to the plans and speci J_ications pre -- pared by the City Civil Engineer,filed herewith. This Board 'will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in 't'ie City Hall on the 13th. day of February 1.912 at 10:00 A. 11. A Bond or bonds to be issued to t e Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according.to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent,per anrium, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 23rd. day of January 1912. IMP RO VFXENT RESOLUTION NO. 124. Said improvement shall be known and designated as Alley South of Lake Shore & Michigan Southern from Chapin Street to Scott Street Brick Pavment Improvement No. 124. and shall be constructed according to the plans and speci- fications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 13th. day of February at LO:00 A. M.
