. 1912 Continu <br />.IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 126 A. <br />.RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That: Whereas; A petition has been submitted to the Board of Public Works by the resi- <br />dent freeholders on IIRST ALLEY SOUTH OF WAYNE STREET FROM MAIN STREET TO COLUMBIA <br />STREET, proposed to be improved, pursuant to Improvement Resolution No. 126 passed by <br />the Board of Public Works on the loth. day of January 1912; and, Whereas, This Board of <br />Public Works Find that said petitioners have complied with all steps required by law, at <br />and that said petition contains the signatures of a majority of the resident freeholder) <br />on said Street proposed to be improved; now, THERE FORE, be it resolved,by the Board of <br />Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana.) that the said preliminary resolution <br />be and is hereby modified in accordance with said petition so as to include sudd <br />pavement so petitioned for, «nd the detail plans and specifications for said pavement a; <br />prepared by the City Civil Engin eer, are hereby approved and adopted, and same are <br />hereby incorporated herein, and made a pert of said prelimi nary resolution for the <br />the improvement of First Alley south of Wayne Street from Main Street to Columbia Stree, <br />Said improvement shall be known and designated as FIRST ALLEY :3')UTH OF <br />WAYNE FROM MAIN STREET TO COLUMBIA STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMPRVEMENT NO 126 n Md shall <br />be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil <br />Engineer,filed herewith. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its <br />office in the City Hall on the 13th. day of February 1912 at 10: 00 A.M.. A Bond or <br />Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property, owner <br />signs waiver required,as according to law. Wgich said bonds shall bear interest at the <br />rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. <br />Adopted this 23rd. day of January 1912. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 118 A. <br />RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />That; WHEREAS,A petition has been submitted to the Board of Public Works by the residen <br />freeholders on first Alley south of Monroe Street from Michigan Street to Main Street, <br />propsed to be improved, pursuant to Improvement Resolution No.118 passed by the Board of <br />Public Works on the loth. of January 1912;and, WHEREAS,this Board of Public Works find <br />that said petitioners have complied with all steps required by law,and that said petiti <br />petition contains the signatures of a majority of the resident freeholders on said <br />Alley to be improved; now,THEREFORE,Be it resolved,by the Board of Public Works of the_ <br />City of South Bend ,Indiana ,that the said preliminary resolution be and is hereby " . <br />modified in accordance with said petition so as to include said pavement so petitioned <br />.for, and the detail plans and specifications for said pavement as prepared by the City <br />Engineer,are hereby approved and adopted and same are hereby incorporated herein, and <br />made a part of said preliminary resolution for the improvement of the first Alley south <br />of Monroe Street from Michigan Street to Main Street. <br />Said improvement shall be known and designated as the iTRST ALLEY SOUTH <br />OF MUNPOE STREET FROM MI CHI GAN STREET TO MAIN STREET, Brick Pavement, and shall be con- <br />structed according to the plans and specification prepared by the City Civil Engineer <br />Oiled. herewith.
