Wednesday Janaary loth. 1912 Continued.. IMIPROYEHIENT RESOLUTION NO. 117. RESOLVEd:, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend., Indiana, That -it is desired and deemed necessary to snake the following described public improvements in the aforesad.ol-. City as a,utnorized by the following numbered improvement Resolution Adopte by said Board on the 10th. day of JanuaryF 1l--)12. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: To improve the Firs!V;Alley east of Emeri ck Street:, *from La Salle Avenue to Colfax Avenue. By (1rading, and Paving the roadway,_ also gradillrg, and paving; the roadway of intersecting and entering streets and alleys ly_+.n . within sa,id portion of said, alley east of Emeriek Street, not included in the roadway to be improved, witri Asphalt, Bituli- tnic Brick or Creosoted Wooden .Block, laid on a five (5) inch portl and cement gravel concrete foundation, from property line to property line, placing the necessary marginal curb, also the construction of the necessary storm Water JAIets all as shown on plans, and in accordance with the profiles, detail plans and specifications on -file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 15th. day of January mnd on the 22nd. day of January 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times. .Said Board has fixed the 13th. clay of February 1912 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or nezrd by persons interested or af 'ected by s'aie public improvements and on _aid day vs t 10:00 .A'Id. said Board will at its,-. said, office hear and consider any remonstrators and person interested or whose property is af'f'ected by s€lid public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, grill be equal to, or exceed ti-le estimated cost of the proposed impro,rements, as estimated by the City Civil Ens sneer. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment of such work where the property owner sip;:zs waiver required, as according to law. which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate oi' six per cent per, annum, payable as provided by law.
