<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 129
<br />RESOLVED, by ..the Board of public Works of the City of South Bend, Indityna
<br />That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described ublic improve-
<br />ments in the aforegai# City as authorized by the followings numbered resolution adopted
<br />by said Board on. the loth. day of January 1912.
<br />REsolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and
<br />terminal points as follows: To improve_ the First Ailey North of Colfax avenue from
<br />Lafayette Street to La Porte Avenue. By grading and paving the roadway, also grading and.
<br />paving the roadway of interesting and entering streets and alleys lying within said
<br />portion of said alley north of Colfax Avenue, not included in the roadway to be improved
<br />with Asphalt, Bitulithis Brick, or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid on a Five (5) inch por 1
<br />portland cement gravel concrete foundation, from property line to property line, placinrs
<br />the necessary marginal curb, also tLie construction of the necessary storm water inlets
<br />all as -hown on the plans,.an.d`.n accordance with the profiles, detail plans and gpeci-
<br />ications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said -City. And such
<br />improvement is now ordered.

<br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th day ofk January
<br />and on the 1st. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times.
<br />Said..Board has fixed the 23r4. day of February 1912 as a date upon which
<br />remonstrances may be filed or heard. by persons interested or affected by said public
<br />impovenents and on said day at 7:15 P.M. said -Board will at its said. office Dear and con-
<br />sider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said im-
<br />provement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property, abuttin
<br />and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said city, will be equal to, or exceed
<br />the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer.
<br />A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in pa,ynent of such work where the property
<br />owner si n.1 waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest a
<br />at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law.

<br />in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution
<br />adopted by said Board on the loth. day of January 1912.
<br />. Repolved that an improvement be made of the kind., size, location and
<br />terminal points as follows: To improve Hydraulic Avenue from La Salle Avenue to the
<br />West bank of the East Race, which point is the heard of Madison Street. By grading and
<br />paving the roadway, also grading and paving the roadway of intersecting and entering
<br />streets and alleys lying; within said portion of Hydraulic Avenue not included in the
<br />roadway to be improved, with Asp halt, Bitulithie, Brick or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid
<br />6n a, five (5) inch Portland cement gravel concrete foundation, from curb line to curb
<br />line, placing the necessary 6 X 7'X 16 inch cement curb, and necessary cement marginal
<br />curb, also the construction of the necessary storm water inlets all as shown on the plan
<br />and in accordance with the profiles, detail plans and specifications on file in the
<br />office of the Department of Public Works of RRiA City. And such improvement is now
<br />ordered.
<br />Said improvements shall be known and. designated as HYDRAULIC AVENUE
<br />PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 130
<br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th. day of
<br />January and on the lst. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times.
