IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 129 RESOLVED, by ..the Board of public Works of the City of South Bend, Indityna That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described ublic improve- ments in the aforegai# City as authorized by the followings numbered resolution adopted by said Board on. the loth. day of January 1912. REsolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: To improve_ the First Ailey North of Colfax avenue from Lafayette Street to La Porte Avenue. By grading and paving the roadway, also grading and. paving the roadway of interesting and entering streets and alleys lying within said portion of said alley north of Colfax Avenue, not included in the roadway to be improved with Asphalt, Bitulithis Brick, or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid on a Five (5) inch por 1 portland cement gravel concrete foundation, from property line to property line, placinrs the necessary marginal curb, also tLie construction of the necessary storm water inlets all as -hown on the plans,.an.d`.n accordance with the profiles, detail plans and gpeci- ications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said -City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said Anproveinents she ll be known and designated as ALLEY NORTI-i OF COLFAX AVE?LTUE PAVEMENT IKPROVEi',,fENT RE'SO ,UTION 129. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th day ofk January and on the 1st. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times. Said..Board has fixed the 23r4. day of February 1912 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard. by persons interested or affected by said public impovenents and on said day at 7:15 P.M. said -Board will at its said. office Dear and con- sider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said im- provement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property, abuttin and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said city, will be equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in pa,ynent of such work where the property owner si n.1 waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest a at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Repolved that an improvement be made of the kind., size, location and terminal points as follows: To improve Hydraulic Avenue from La Salle Avenue to the West bank of the East Race, which point is the heard of Madison Street. By grading and paving the roadway, also grading and paving the roadway of intersecting and entering streets and alleys lying; within said portion of Hydraulic Avenue not included in the roadway to be improved, with Asp halt, Bitulithie, Brick or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid 6n a, five (5) inch Portland cement gravel concrete foundation, from curb line to curb line, placing the necessary 6 X 7'X 16 inch cement curb, and necessary cement marginal curb, also the construction of the necessary storm water inlets all as shown on the plan and in accordance with the profiles, detail plans and specifications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of RRiA City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said improvements shall be known and. designated as HYDRAULIC AVENUE PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 130 Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th. day of January and on the lst. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times.
