Indiana, That <br />it is,desired and deemed neeessary to make the following'described public improve <br />rients in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered improvement <br />resolution adopted by said Board on the loth. play of January 1912. <br />Resolved that an i�mprovement be made of the kind size location and <br />+er>iifiaw . points as follows. To improve Madison Street f'rbm the'east bank of the <br />East Race. to Eddy Street. By Graa ing and Pavi ng the roadway, also graiding and <br />paving the roadway of intersecting and. entering Streets and Alleys lying within Tay <br />-arid portion of said Madison Street not included in the roadway to be improved, <br />with Asphalt, Bitulithie, Brick or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid on ra five (5) <br />inch portland. cement gravel concrete foundation,, ?'r. om curb line to curb line, <br />placing the necessary marginal cement curb, also the construction of the <br />necessary storm water inlets all as shown on the plans, 'and in accordance with <br />the prof. i les, detail plans and specifications caa.tions on file in the office of the depart <br />vent of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. <br />Said imr>rovement shall'be known and desiumated as EAST MADISON STREET <br />PAVEMENT IMPROVRAENT RESOLUTION 10. 131. <br />Moti ce of this resolution shall be published on the 25th. day of <br />January and on the lst. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />Said Board. has -fixed the 23rd. daffy 'of February 1912 as a1 date upon <br />which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by <br />said publie improverents and on said day at 7:15 P.M. said Board will at its ;. <br />said -,,office hear and consider any remonstrators or persons interested or whose <br />property is affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the bene— <br />fits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the Lroposed <br />improvements and to said. City, will equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of the <br />proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer., <br />A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of such work where the <br />owr_er signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear <br />interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. <br />President. <br />
