<br />intersecting and entering streets and Alleys lyin g within said portion of said
<br />Scott Street not included in the roadway to be unproved., with Asphalt, Bitulithie,
<br />Brick or Creoosted -77ooden Block, laid on a five (5) inch po:rtlAnd cement gravel
<br />concrete foundation, from curb line to curb .line, placing the necessary marginal
<br />cement curb, also the construction of the necessary storm water inlets all as shown
<br />on the plans, and in accordance with the profiles, detail plans and specifications
<br />on file in -the Office of the Department of Public Works of r7aid City. ilmd such im-
<br />provement is now ordered.
<br />.Said improvements shall be known and d.esi mated as THE SCOTT STREET
<br />PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 127.
<br />Wotice of this resolution shell be published on the 25th. day of January
<br />and on the 1st. day of February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times.,
<br />Said Board has fixed the 23rd. day of February 1912 as a date upon which
<br />remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public
<br />improvements and on said day at 7:15 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear
<br />and consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected
<br />by said public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to
<br />the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said city,
<br />will be equal to. or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as c
<br />estimated by the City Civil Engineer.
<br />A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of such work where° the.
<br />property owner si =fn.s waiver required, as according to law. Whichsaid.,'bonds shall
<br />bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law.

<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend., Indian
<br />That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public im-
<br />provements in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered improvement
<br />resolution adopted by sadd Board on the loth. day of January 1912.
<br />. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and
<br />terminal points as follows: To improve Fellows Street from Monroe Street to
<br />Sample Street. By Grading and Paving the roadway, also grading and paving the road-
<br />way of intersecting and entering streets and alleys lying within said portion of sad
<br />said Fellows Street, not inolud.ed in the roadway to be improved, with Asphalt, Brick
<br />Bitulithie or Creosoted Wooden Block laid on a five (5) ineh portland cement gravel
<br />concrete _-ounde,tion, from curb line to curb line, placing; the necessary marginal
<br />cement curb, also the constriction of the necessary storm water inlets all as
<br />shown on the plans, and in accordance with the profiles, detail drawings and speci-
<br />fications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City.
