Friday May 26th, 1911 Continued. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 8�3 RESOLVED, .by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend., Indiana that it is :desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the &forersaid City as authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution adopted by said Board on the 26th. day of may 1911. .Resolved that an improvement be made of the ki 4 Size, location and terminal 1-)oints .as follows; That it is deemed heeesrsary to improve the First Alley north of Navarre Street from Main Street to La Fayette Street. By grading and paving the said Alley from the property line to the .property line with Asphalt, Bitulithic, Creosoted Wooden Blocks or Brisk, laid on a five (5) inch.portlgnd cement gravel foundation, also constructing the neeessary marginal curb and storm water inlets. All as shown on detail plans, profiles and specifications on file in the office of the Departnent of /Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said improvements shall be known and designated as PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT OF THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF NAVARRE STREET FROM MAIN STREET TO LA FAYETTE STREET. Said Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by'peisens interested or affected by said public improvements -and on said day at 7;15 P. M. said Board will at its said office hear and . consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the benfits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, Wil.-IL be equal to, or exceed the estimated eest'of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. A Notice of this resolution will be published on the 5th. day of June and on tho 12th. day.of June 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. .A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of suah work where the proper°tar oinner signs waiver required, as according to law, which said bonds shall bear interest at t e rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. . IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION N0, 93. RESOLVED, by the Board of 'Public Works of t e City of South Bend Indiana that it is desired and deemed neeessary to make.the following described public improvements in the aforesaid city as authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution adopted by said Board on the 26the day of May 1911. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, loeatin and terminal ports as fellows; That it is deemed necessary to improve the first alley west of William Street from Was ington Street to Jefferson Street. By grading and paving the said Alley from the property line to the property line with Asphalt, Bitulithie, Creosoted Wooden Blocks or Brick, laid on a five (5) portland cement gravel foundation. All as shown on detail plans, profiles and speeifie ,tion on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said Improvements shall be known and designated as PAVEMENT T IMPROVEMENT OF FIRST ALLEY WEST OF WILLIAMS STREET FROM WASHINGTON STREET TO JEr'FERSON STREET. Said Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as a, date upon which remonstransesmay be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvements and on said day at 7;15 P. M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any said public improvement and will decide whether the benfits that will accrue to the property, abutting and ,adjace t to the proposed improvements and to said city, will be equal to,"or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the .City Civil Engineer. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 5th* and. on the 12th. day of June 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. A Bond or bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as aeeordin�; to law, w ieh said bands shall bear interest at the rate.of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law.
