Friday May 26th. 1911 Continued. <br />IMI)ROVEIiENT RESOLUTION NO. ,:10. <br />✓ RESOLVED, .by the.BoardOf Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />that it is desired and deemed necessary to slake the following described public improvements <br />in the aforesaid city as authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution adopted <br />by said Board on the '26th day of May 1911. <br />Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and <br />terminal points as follows; That it is deemed necessary to improve the first alley west <br />of Michigan Street from Tutt Street to Sample Street. By grading; and paving the said <br />alley from property line to property line with asphalt, Bitulithic, Cresosoted Wooden <br />blocks or Brick, laid on a five inch portland cemc--n gravel foundation, placing the <br />necessary marginal curb nd constructing the necessary storm water inlets all as sl6own can <br />plans, and in accordance with profiles, detail plans and specifications on file in the <br />office of the Department of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now <br />ordered.. <br />Said improvement shall be known and designated as PAVING IMPROVEMENT OF <br />THE FIRST ALLEY WEST OF 4ICHI -+AN STREET -'ROM TUTT STREET TO S94PLE STREET. <br />Said Board has Fixed. the 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which <br />remonstrances may be Piled or heard by persons interested or affected by said public <br />improvements and on said day at 7;15 p. m.' said Board will at its said office hear and <br />consider any remonstrators ad person interested or whose property is affected by aid public <br />improvement and will decide whether the benefits tha t will accrue to the property, <br />abutting and adjacent to the propose# improvements and to said eity, will be equal to <br />or exceed the estimated costof the proposed improvements. as estimated by the City Civil <br />Engineer. <br />Notice of this resolution will be published on the 5th. day of June <br />and on the 12th. day of June 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />A Bonds or bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of ,such work <br />where the property owner signs waiver required, an according to law, which said bonds <br />shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO 91.. <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of t%e City of South Bend, <br />Indiana that it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public <br />improvements in the aforesaid city an authorized by the following numbered improvement <br />resolution adopted by said Board on the 26th. day of May 1911 <br />Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind , size., to cation <br />and terminal points as follows; That it is deemed necessary to improve the First Alley <br />North of Washington Street from Williams Street to Taylor Street. <br />By grading and paving the said alley from property line to property <br />line with asphalt, Bitulithie, Creosoted Wooden Blocks or Brick, laid on a five inch <br />portland cement gravel foundation, placing the necessary marginal curb and- constructing <br />the necessary storm, water inlets all as :. shown on plans, and in accordance with profiles <br />detail plans and specifications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of <br />said City.
