Friday May 26th. 1911 Continued. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 72. v RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the city of South Bend-, Indiana that it is desired snd deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution adopted by said Board on the 26th. day `of May 26th. 1911. Resolved that an improvement be nade of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: That it is deemed necessary to improve Catalpa Avenue from Prairie Avenue to the First"Illey North of Leon Court. By grading the`said street from property line to property line and construct- ing cement curb on both sides of sas,id street. All as shown by detail plans, profiles and specifications on file in the of ice of the Public Works of said. City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said improvements shall be known and desifmated as CATALPA AVENUE GRADE CURB i�,.ND WALK IMP ROVF11ENT T -FROM PRAIRIE AVE. TO THE FIRST ALLEY .NORTH OF LEON COURT. SaId Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or effected by said public improvements a;,nd on said day at 7;15 P. M. said Board will at its said of ice he&r and consider any remonstrators and person interested or vjhose property is affected by said Public improvement and will decide whether the=benf'its that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, will be equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of t.ae proposed improvements, its estimated by the City Civil Engineer. Notice of thi4 resolution shall be published on the 5th. day of June And on. the 12th. day of June 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. A Bend or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment of such work wi-;ere the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shell bear interest at the rate of Six per cent per atinnum, payable as provi ed by law. By trading the said street from property line to property line and constructing cement walks and curbs on both sides of sadid street where the same is not already constructed. All as shown on detail plans, profiles and specification now on file in the office of the department.of the Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. .Said improvement may be k nown and designated as JOHNSON STREET GRADE.
