lst.. 1922. Continued. ° Mr. J.'B. Witwer with a Committee of property owners from River Park appeared before the Board in regard to the gas lights in River Park. Mr. Witwer explained to the Board the poo r lighting in River Park from these g.s lights and requested that the Board take some way of placing bettwpStreet lighting. The Board instructed the.Clerk to have the City Attorney give an opinion on the present contract with the Welsbaell Street Lighting Company for gas lights now in River Park as to the le -king of a new contract. Resolution ordered prepdrdd. - Petition presented for asphalt pavement on Chapin Street from Prairie Avenue to RTJM VX11, 9,``.PPejition placed on file and Clerk°instructed to notify petitioners that this street should be. widened and if same is widened petit ion far pavement will be granted. _ n City Engfaeer F." Dayton,, repotted one new Ford Truck would be $ 644.59. Board ordered same purchased and the old Street Repair Truck referred to the Sewer Department.
