E ❑ Panel Cleaning — cleaning of debris caused by shipping only ❑ E Installation or maintenance of access roads for truck access ❑ E Onsite shuttle lot for truck/trailer staging and storage ❑ E Local Load Shuttle performed by any union entity ❑ E Street Sweeping of any kind PROJECT SPECIFIC CLARIFICATIONS 1. CONTRACT DRAWINGS: We require a CD with complete Contract Drawings and Specifications prior to start of engineering and detailing. 2. QUALITY CONTROL: HCG qualifies that production and curing practices will be in accordance with PCI recommendations, exception is taken to any special production, curing or storage requirements, including any requirement that the precast must be at 28-day strength prior to shipment & erection in the structure. 3. PRECAST DESIGN: High Concrete Group LLC will utilize standard product design and connection details for precast concrete components (performance design). Pricing includes components and design allowances for conditions reflected in the design documents. 4. General Contractor/Construction Manager shall be responsible for leading and managing the coordination between trade contractors. 5. HCG Excludes Geotechnical analysis or subsurface investigations to verify bearing pressures for truck and crane operations. The site surface must be designed by others to support hoisting and hauling equipment required for precast operations. 6. MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY OTHERS: Materials supplied by others for inclusion in precast products must be supplied with the proper layout information six (6) weeks prior to scheduled start of production. 7. CAST IN ELECTRICAL CONDUITS: No provisions are included to embed any electrical conduits within the precast. 8. JOINT SEALANTS: HCG proposal "Includes" providing all precast -to -precast joint sealants. 9. WATER REPELLENT COATINGS: HCG proposal "Excludes" providing any Water Repellent Coatings. 10. CRANE / TRUCK ACCESS: HCG proposal is based upon having crane and truck access as shown in the attached Site Logistics Plan prepared by High Concrete from a site visit on 4/30/19. 11. BRACING OF SUPERSTRUCTURE: HCG proposal "Excludes" all bracing of the building frame. 12. BRICK -JOINT TUCKPOINTING: FICG proposal "Excludes" tooling or tuckpointing of thin -brick joints as bricks are laid into a special form liner that provides the clean, crisp joints. 13. THIN BRICK LEAD TIME: Please note that the lead time for the thin brick material can be extensive. HCG has seen as much as 16 weeks for some thin brick material. 14. PANEL THICKNESS: HCG estimate is based various 11" thick precast panels in most areas, based on the 5" interior wythe, 3" insulation and 3" exterior wythe. Per Addendum #3, precast panels in the garage areas where exposed to the outside will be 8" thick solid units with no insulation. 113
