After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hurst recommended <br />that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Skyline <br />Plastering, Inc., 232 Westgate Drive, Carol Stream, IL 60188 in the amount of $561,500 for the <br />Base Bid plus Alternate No. 3. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the recommendation <br />be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion, <br />which carried. <br />EXTENSION OF BID AWARD — ONE 1 OR MORE 2018 OR NEWER EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL VEHICLES (FIRE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL) <br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on September 25, 2018, bids were <br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak <br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder <br />Horton Emergency Vehicles, 3800 McDowell Road, Grove City, OH 43123 in the amount of <br />$259,760. Mr. Hudak stated he is now requesting to extend the bid award for an additional <br />vehicle for the Fire Department and noted the extension option was part of the original bid <br />package and has been confirmed with Horton Emergency Vehicles.
