REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 26, 2019 66 <br />HARDMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />243 S. Brye Road <br />Ludington, MI 49431 <br />Bid was signed by: Martin Gamble <br />Non -Collusion, Non -Discrimination Affidavit Form was completed <br />Five percent (5%) Bid Bond was submitted <br />BID: $265,000.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the above bids <br />were referred to Community Investment and Engineering for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS — SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY —1143 E. CORBY BLVD. <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proof of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune, which was found <br />to be sufficient. The following bid was opened and publicly read: <br />FIVE CORNERS LLC <br />814 Marietta Street <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />BID: $5,500.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the above bid <br />was referred to Community Investment for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF PROPOSALS — LAWN MAINTENANCE AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM <br />(VPA MAINTENANCE) <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed proposals for <br />the above referenced project. Mr. Gilot stated the proposals will be reviewed and scored based <br />on a matrix system, by a team made up of City representatives. He read the name of the <br />following company submitting a proposal: <br />GREATER IMPACT LAWN CARE <br />1519 Portage Avenue <br />South Bend, IN 46616 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the above <br />proposal was referred to the review team for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS — HOWARD PARK ICE SKATES AND SHARPENER <br />(INSURANCE FUND, CUMULATIVE CAPITAL) <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed quotations for <br />the above referenced project.
