AGENDA REVIEW SESSION ATTEST: "Li da M .Martin, Jerk JULY 18 2012 53 ;ohn Collin , Luther Taylor, Member EXECUTIVE SESSION JULY 18, 2012 The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 8:20 a.m. The meeting was held in the Mayor's Conference Room, 14th Floor, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in I.C. 5-14-1.5-6. 1 (b)(2)(A)6(A) regarding Disciplinary action. Board President Patrick Cottrell and Members Eddie Miller, John Collins, and Luther Taylor were present. Board member Laura Vasquez was absent. Also present were Police Chief Charles Hurley, Fire Chief Steve Cox, and Attorney Andrea Beachkofsky. Board members did not discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m. BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY 1 Patrick D. Martin, Cler REGULAR MEETING JULY 18, 2012 The Board of Public Safety met in the Regular Meeting at 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, with Board President Patrick Cottrell and Members Eddie Miller, John Collins, and Luther Taylor present. Board member Laura Vasquez was absent. Also present were Police Chief Charles Hurley, Fire Chief Steve Cox, and Attorney Andrea Beachkofsky. The meeting was held in the Board of Works Conference Room, 13th Floor, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana. CHANGES TO THE AGENDA Board President Pat Cottrell stated the Board would be moving the Fire and Police Department promotions to the first and second items on the agenda due to the large crowd in attendance. He added that item No. 3 under the Police Department, Set Hearing for Charges No. 2012 -05 — Bortone, was being removed from the agenda. 1 L7
