South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —July 26, 2012 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(3) Resolution No. 3050 accepting the transfer <br />of real property from the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority. (Vacant lots in <br />Monroe Park) <br />Mr. Relos noted while preparing to take the <br />remaining seven Housing Development <br />Corporation (HDC) properties in the Monroe <br />Park area through the disposition process, <br />staff discovered there are two vacant lots that <br />should also be taken through this process. <br />Both lots are next to properties with houses <br />on them, and can be combined with those <br />houses when sold. <br />Like the other HDC properties, these lots are <br />titled in the name of the Redevelopment <br />Authority (Authority), and need to be <br />transferred to the Commission for disposition <br />purposes. <br />A resolution authorizing this transfer was <br />approved by the Authority on July 18, 2012. <br />Once both bodies have approved their <br />resolutions, deeds will be prepared to transfer <br />these lots in to the Commission's name. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution No. <br />3050. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3050 <br />accepting the transfer of real property from <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Authority; <br />518 Rush St. and 632 Lincolnway. <br />8 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 3050 <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY; 518 RUSH ST.
