A Letter of <br />Redevelopment Commission's approval of <br />the project. Andres <br />Executive Director, Morris Performing Arts <br />Center <br />Ms. Jones noted that she is involved in <br />another organization that had something to <br />do with this and she took a tour of the Morris <br />and not only does it not. decrease the <br />rentability, it greatly increases it. Right now <br />they manually do the lift and it takes days to <br />set that up. Therefore, the days preceding a <br />performance that requires the lift are not <br />rentable. There are people who want to come <br />in for short performances and the Morris <br />misses many such opportunities to let the <br />facility. This should enhance and increase <br />the Morris's rentability. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED AUTHORIZATION FOR <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the INSTALLATION OF ORCHESTRA PIT LIFT AT THE <br />Commission approved authorization for MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER. <br />installation of Orchestra Pit Lift at the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center. <br />7 <br />
