Mr. Varner asked if this falls in line with the costs associated with removing the PCB's and the transformers in the foundry building. Ms. Kolata responded that it falls in line with the entire environmental consultant project cost. She explained that she misspoke on the foundry building. The transformers had actually been removed by the 'owner. The city had to do the clean up of what was left behind, which included concrete and soil impacted by PCBs. Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the proposal from Weaver Boos Consultants for the Ivy Tower facility renovation project, specifically to review the environmental information, prepare bid documents, provide on -call service and do project management and coordination in a not -to- exceed amount of $198,720. 11 COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM WEAVER BOOS CONSULTANTS FOR THE IVY TOWER FACILITY RENOVATION PROJECT, SPECIFICALLY TO REVIEW THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION, PREPARE BID DOCUMENTS, PROVIDE ON -CALL SERVICE AND DO PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION IN A NOT - TO- EXCEED AMOUNT OF $198,720.
