South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Regular Meeting—June 14, 2012 <br /> 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br /> A. South Bend Central Development Area <br /> (2) continued... <br /> • South of that point, there is excess <br /> right-of-way that could be <br /> incorporated into the larger <br /> development site. <br /> • The scope of services for the proposal <br /> includes: preparation of the two legal <br /> descriptions and preparation of the <br /> right-of-way vacation application. <br /> The fee for these services is $3,150. Staff <br /> requests approval. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br /> Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the ABONMARCHE FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND <br /> Commission accepted the proposal from FEE PROPOSED <br /> Abonmarche for the scope of services and fee <br /> proposed. <br /> Ms. Jones inquired whether this would <br /> seriously impact the development site. Mr. <br /> Relos noted that it is all being coordinated <br /> with Mr. David Matthews. <br /> B. Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (1) Engagement letter from Plews Shadley <br /> Racher & Braun for legal services related <br /> to the Union Station Technology Center. <br /> Mr. Inks noted that as a part of the agreement <br /> with Union Station Properties for <br /> development of the Renaissance District, the <br /> city agreed to take care of environmental <br /> issues related to the Ivy Tower Building. <br /> 5 <br />
