Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. <br />Hearing had or, assessment roll and final estimate for grade, curb <br />and walk on Donald Street from Uimai Street,to High Street, under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 508. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- <br />strance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll <br />filed July 10th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount if assessments as shown on said <br />rolloV and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed July loth., <br />1917 and the final estimate allowed July 16th.,1917 should be -and the same is hereby <br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing had on Grade, curb and walk and Gravel roadway on Dubail <br />Avenue from Marine Street to Leer Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 467. <br />,,/�In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- <br />strance was filed. In <br />°/ the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property ,assessed in said <br />rolls filled July 10th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown <br />on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed July 10th., <br />1917 and the final estimate allowed July 10th.,1917 should be and the same is hereby <br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Deferred hearing had on improvement Resolution Ito. 543 for the <br />pavement on Dubail Avenue from Michigan Street to 11imi Street, in the City of South <br />Bend,, Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no further written <br />remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that <br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for da.id improvements are equal to <br />the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon <br />takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and over-ruleld said <br />remonstrance and the said resolution is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published onthe lst. day of <br />August 1917 and on the 8th. day of August 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of <br />said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the 14th. day of August 1917 The Board <br />reserves the right to reject any and all bids. <br />The bill of W. Cahill, contractor on Michigan Street <br />Trunk sewer, for placing a new tap in place of defective tap. <br />
