Re-oreseutat ive of the S. S. Kresge Co. appeased before the Board 'and requested 'permission to have door in sidewalk on IMP.- Jefferson Blvd, left open duringsutmmer months for ventilation. Same was not granted. In regard to report of the City Engineer on petition for sewer on "-'_CeO.ar Street, -and Sumner Street, the Board ordered same deferred: indefinitely. In regard. ,to complaint received .5/14,1917 about sidewalk being raised UP aboutr 2 inches i$ front of 406 South Michigan Street on east side of street �✓ in,front of Grocery. Mr. Haugnton, property owner says he will see about getting- same repaired. The Board referred tKis matter to the Street Commissioner for enforcement. Street Commissioner reports that Tutt Street crossing of the Vandalia, Ry« Com- pany is repaired, -also Vichigan Central Railway Crossing on Lincoln. Way West has beezi taken care of.
