Upon slid hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance was filed. And the .Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements,.are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City C iv it Eng-inoor;, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the: S"Tme is hereby ina�ll ' things ratified, c onf i med and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the299kv day Of March 1917 and on the 5th day of Npr it 1917 in anewspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of sad said improvements up to 10:00 A. The Beard res;rues the right to reject any and all bids. Mr. Geo. Carll of the E. L. Cothrell Realty Company appeared before the Board and took up the matter of the condition of Irvigton Avenue. This matter. ✓ was referred to the Street Commissioner to investigate. Mr. F. I. Hardy. Mgr. of the Chicago, South Bend• & Northern Indiana Ry. Company appared before the Board in regard to plumbers in the City tunneling under their tracks and cutting into pavements and not properly tapping same. The ✓ 'Board took this martter* under advisement. Attorney Vitus Jones appeared before the Board for the Harter Realty Company and made a propos-ft'16nnto-the Board , that they would improve the Streets and alleys in the Harter Heights Addition by paving same. That the Harter Realty Company would pay for all sidewalks and curbs intersections: amounting to $460.30,--also they would pay for ono hail' (�) of the cost df Street -and Alley interseeet'ions, which after due consideration was accepted and approved of by the Board, by unanimous consent.
