DRUG FREE WORKPLACE POLICY <br />PURPOSE: <br />Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. is committed to providing a safe and productive work environment. We expect our <br />employees to report to work each day fit to perform their jobs. In order to meet these objectives, as well as our <br />obligations under applicable federal and state laws, we must take a firm and positive stand against substance <br />abuse. This policy is intended to ensure a drug -free work environment for the benefit of our employees and <br />customers. This policy supplements our Substance Abuse Policy and is necessary due to our government <br />contracts. <br />POLICY STATEMENT: <br />The unlawful manufacturing, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance while on <br />Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. premises or in the performance of services for Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. is strictly <br />prohibited. <br />As a condition of continuing employment with Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. each employee must: <br />1.) Abide by the terms of this policy; and <br />2.) Notify Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. of any criminal drug state conviction for a violation <br />occurring in Cornerstone Stewards, Inc.'s workplace no later than five days after such <br />conviction. <br />Any violation of this policy will result in discipline, up to and including discharge depending on the <br />individual case and severity of the infraction involved. <br />Drug -Free Awareness Program <br />To assist in ensuring compliance with Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. Drug -Free Workplace Policy, we <br />have established a Drug -Free Awareness Program to inform our employees about: <br />1.) The dangers of drug abuse in the workplace. <br />2.) Cornerstone Stewards, Inc.'s policy of maintaining a drug -free workplace. <br />3.) Employee assistance programs that may be offered for drug counseling and rehabilitation <br />through major medical policies currently carried by the individual employee. (Programs will <br />differ depending on your carrier.) <br />4.) The penalties that may be imposed upon employees for drug abuse violations. <br />Participation in our Drug -Free Awareness Program by all employees is mandatory. <br />DRUG TESTING: <br />In accordance with IC 4-13-18, Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. requires random drug testing of all employees. A <br />minimum of one (1) employee will be randomly tested each month and each employee will be tested at least <br />once a year. A drug test will be required in the event of a workplace accident. <br />Drug 'Leg <br />Cornerstone Stewards, Inc. requires a minimum of a five (5) drug panel containing the tests for the <br />following illegal substances: <br />(A) Amphetamines <br />(B) Cocaine <br />(C) Opiates (2000 ng/ml) <br />(D) PCP <br />(E) THC. <br />
