(f) Employees leaving the job of their accord, except of injury, shall be paid only for the time actually <br />worked. If an employee voluntarily quits or resigns his job for any reason, he shall be paid on the <br />regular payday, <br />(g) The Employer shall pay $100 in liquidated damages to employees who have been issued a bad <br />Check by the employer. <br />(h) All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be furnished by the Employer. This shall include, but <br />not be limited to, hardhats, safety glasses, safety harnesses, safety footwear (safety toe and <br />metatarsal), respirators, face shields, FRC, Tyvek suits, rubber boots, etc, as deemed necessary by <br />OSHA, ANSI, Employer or the Owner. <br />ARTICLE 8 <br />LOADING AND UNLOADING <br />Truck Drivers shall help load and unload their trucks and perform other duties assigned to them <br />that will not violate the recognized jurisdiction of any other Union, provided, however, no Driver will be <br />required to handle merchandise alone that will endanger his personal Health or Safety, Drivers will be <br />afforded the opportunity to inspect all loads for safety considerations. The Employer may not take <br />recourse against a driver who refuses a load for valid safety violations. <br />ARTICLE 9 <br />TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIP FUND <br />Section 1. Effective June 1, 2016 the parties to this Agreement authorizes the Teamsters Local <br />No. 142 Training Trust Fund to become the Teamsters Local No. 142 Training and Apprenticeship Trust <br />Fund. The parties agree to reopen this Agreement for the sole purpose of addressing the apprenticeship <br />program as may be required by action of the Board of Trustees of the Training and Apprentice Fund. <br />Section 2. On work covered by this Agreement, the Employer agrees to pay into the Teamsters <br />Local No, 142 Training and Apprenticeship Fund the following amounts per hour. Payment shall be made <br />on the dates, in the manner, form and in accordance with the rules and regulations as adopted by the <br />Trustees of the herein mentioned Training and Apprenticeship Fund, <br />PERIOD EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION <br />6/01/16 - 5/31/17 $0.40 <br />6/01/17 - 5/31/18 $0.40 <br />6101/18 - 5/31/19 $0.40 <br />Section 3. The Employer agrees to be bound by the Agreement and Declaration of Trust entered <br />into establishing the Teamsters Union Local No. 142 Training and Apprenticeship Fund and Participating <br />Employers and by any amendments to said Trust Agreement. <br />Section 4. The Teamsters Union Local No. 142 Training and Apprenticeship Fund shall be <br />administered in accordance with all provisions of applicable law. <br />Section 5. In the event an employer is delinquent in the payment of the amounts due pursuant to <br />this Article, the Union shall have the right to strike such employer only if: <br />(a) The payment is more than thirty (30) days past due. <br />Z <br />
