Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (1) Letter of Clarification—Kitson & <br /> Partners Management Agreement for <br /> Blackthorn Golf Course (LPGS Symetra <br /> Tour). <br /> Ms. Leonard Inks noted that Kitson& <br /> Partners submitted a letter clarifying some of <br /> the terms of our contract with them for the <br /> LPGA event. Ms. DeRose, Interim City <br /> Attorney, has reviewed and finds the <br /> clarifications acceptable. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE LETTER OF <br /> Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the CLARIFICATION-KITSON&PARTNERS <br /> Commission approved the Letter of MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT FOR BLACKTHORN <br /> Clarification—Kitson& Partners GOLF COURSE(LPGS SYMETRA TOUR). <br /> Management Agreement for Blackthorn Golf <br /> Course (LPGS Symetra Tour). <br /> (2) Request for additional funding for <br /> completion of South Bend Animal Care & <br /> Control project. <br /> Mr. Relos noted that on February 19, 2010, <br /> the Commission approved funding of$1.5 <br /> million for a new South Bend Animal Care & <br /> Control Shelter at 521 Eclipse Place. When <br /> bids were received, the project came in much <br /> above that amount, and it was apparent <br /> additional funding was required. <br /> On August 9, 2011, the Commission <br /> approved $400,000 in additional funding, <br /> which allowed the project to be awarded to <br /> the low bidder, but did not allow for any <br /> contingency funds. <br /> As construction progressed, the following <br /> 10 <br />
