Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Neal and carried, the <br />above request to temporarily change a traffic control device was approved. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF UTILITY EASEMENT — THE VACATED PORTION OF <br />KALORAMA STREET FROM HILL STREET TO THE FIRST NORTH /SOUTH ALLEY <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Tony Molnar, Engineering, asked on behalf of Abonmarche <br />Consultants that the above referenced utility easement be released for the purpose of <br />development. In his memo, Mr. Molnar noted that the street has already been vacated and there <br />are currently no utilities existing in the right of way. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, <br />seconded by Mr. Neal, and carried, the above referenced easement was approved. <br />RATIFY APPROVAL OF LETTER OF CLARIFICATION - PETITION TO VACATE <br />KALORAMA STREET <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Tony Molnar, Engineering, stated the original vacation of <br />Kalorama Street, approved by the Common Council on January 11, 2010, included a width of <br />thirty -four (34) feet, when the correct width of the street was fifty (50) feet. Mr. Gilot noted this <br />was just a Scribner's error and in an effort to correct this, he has provided a Letter of <br />Clarification for the Board's approval to forward to the Common Council. Therefore, Mr. Gilot <br />made a motion that the Clerk send a letter to the petitioner recommending approval of the <br />corrected request for vacation and authorizing Mr. Gilot to take action to properly record the <br />corrected document. Ms. Roos seconded the motion, which carried. <br />
