ALTERNATE #12 — DEMOLISH AND REMOVE RAISED PLATFORM AT SOUTHEAST CORNER <br />Demolish and remove from site, the raised platform attached to the southeast corner of <br />the building. The platform has already been removed by DJ Construction to facilitate <br />the exterior renovations of the south wall. This platform was located above an <br />abandoned fuel oil tank that remains and will be removed as part of the City sitework <br />project (cleanup and removal of the tank is not included in this revised alternate price). <br />Alternate #12 Add: $1,125.00 <br />ALTERNATE #13 — REPAIR CRACKS IN BRICK ABOVE NEW MAIN ENTRANCE <br />Repair area of brick between two second floor windows on the west face of the building <br />above the new main entrance. <br />Alternate #13 Add: $500.00 <br />ALTERNATE #14 — REPAIR CRACKS IN BRICK AT NW CORNER OF ORIGINAL BUILDING <br />Repair area of brick at the first floor on the far north end of the west face of the original <br />building. This area is just north of the two overhead doors being closed with brick and <br />could be near the location of a future second main entrance with an elevator lobby. <br />Alternate #14 Add: $750.00 <br />ALTERNATE #15 — INSTALL NEW 3'X7' H.M. DOOR AT S.E. STAIRWELL AND ALLEY <br />Install new 3'x7' insulated flush hollow metal door in existing masonry opening at the <br />alley wall of SE stairway (alternate does not include a new concrete stoop in the alley). <br />Includes lockset, theft - shield, threshold and weatherstripping. <br />Alternate #15 Add: $1,600.00 <br />ALTERNATE #16b — INSTALL NEW 9'6 "X12'10" O.H. DOOR AT NORTH WALL AND ALLEY <br />Install new 9' -6" x 12' -10" 591 series "Thermacore" sectional door, as manufactured by <br />the Overhead Door Corporation at the one remaining OH door facing the North (closest <br />to the alley on the East). Pricing includes removal and hauling away of the existing door <br />and electric operator. Leave existing tracks in place for use with new door. Haul away <br />all sections, springs, and related hardware. We are proposing to reuse the existing track <br />which is in good shape and relocate the best existing (working) overhead door operator. <br />This price does not include getting working electricity to the operator, but that can be <br />addressed as directed by Jeff Young. The proposed door is solid - no lights with side, <br />top, & bottom weather seals, 10,000 cycle torsion spring counter - balance with 1" solid <br />door shafts, baked on exterior white paint and inside slide lock. Door standard features <br />to include the following: .016" thick roll- formed hot - dipped galvanized, ribbed face <br />steel sections, with metal /foam /metal sandwich, foamed -in -place homogeneous <br />CFC /HCFC free polyurethane insulation. Insulating values: R = 14.86, U = .067. Section <br />thickness 15/8 ", all sections to be fitted with tube seals to weather strip each joint. Air <br />infiltration of .08 cfm per sq. ft. of door at 15 mph, and class 26 sound transmission. <br />End stiles will be 16 ga. steel; hinges and fixtures will be galvanized steel. EPDM thermal <br />break to be provided between interior and exterior skins to prevent thermal <br />DJ Construction Co., Inc.
