1. Dr. Schnabel presented the Board with the annual report for the Botanical Society. <br /> 2. A new logo has been designed for the conservatory. He asked for opinions on the design. <br /> 3. He discussed the board of directors. There are seven members. <br /> 4. There were 3,076 visitors in 2011,which is a 39%increase over 2010. <br /> 5. They had 1,300 volunteer hours, from 81 different people. <br /> 6. Programming increased from 12 events in 2010 to 50 in 2011. <br /> 7. Membership was up 20% and income was up 200%to $37,000. <br /> 8. Two sessions of strategic planning are underway. Four committees are consulting with <br /> the Board. <br /> 9.
