<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above Quotations
<br />were referred to Community and Economic Development and Engineering for review and
<br />recommendation. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Patrick Henthorn, Engineering
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidder, John Boettcher Sewer and Excavating, 3305 North Home Street, Mishawaka, Indiana
<br />46545, in the amount of $36,464.40, which is the total of the Base Bid plus the Contingent
<br />Item. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the
<br />quotation be awarded subject to financing. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />Mr. Matt Chlebowski, Central Services, advised the Board that on February 14, 2012, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and
<br />responsible bidder Tele -Rad, Inc., 1001 Pipestone Road, Benton Harbor, Michigan 49022 in the
<br />amount of $151,153.00. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />approved as outlined above. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion, which carried.
