309 <br />1. At the intersection of Michigan Street and the tracks of said railroad, <br />the surface of said street shall be depressed six feet below the top of the highest <br />rail of the tracks -at the intersection ,as now maintained; clearance shall be sixteen <br />(16) feet between the surface of the street as fixed above and the bottom of :the <br />superstructure work over said street; the grade of the'approach-of said street on the <br />north shall be a; straight line ' from the north line of the superstructure until it inter- <br />sects the present street grade at the south line of South Street; and the grade of the <br />approach on the south shall be an ascending grade from the south line of;Bronsonc <br />Street of two and one-half (21) feet to each one hundred .(100) feet. <br />I <br />2 At the intersection of Bronson Street and the tracks of said railroad, <br />(which street intersects them at the same point that Michigan Street does) the turface <br />of said street'shall be depressed six (6) feet below the top of the highest rail of the <br />tracks of said intersection as now maintained; the clearnnce shall -be twelve and one- <br />half (1*) feet between the surface of the street as fixed above and the bottom of the <br />superstructure work over said street; the grade of the approaches of said street shall <br />be ascending grades of three (3) feet to e4ch one hundred (100) feet each way" east and <br />west from the east and west line of the superstructure over said street. <br />3. At the intersection of Main Street and the tracks of said roll,road the <br />surface of said street shall be depressed two and six -tenths (2.6) feet below the top of <br />the gighest rail of the tracks of said intersection as now maintained; .clearance shall be <br />twelve and one-half (14-) feet -between the surface of the street as fixed above the the <br />superstructure work over said street; the grade of the approach of said street north -from <br />the north line of the superstructure shall be a straight line until it intersects the <br />present street grade at the south line of South Street, and on the south the grade shall <br />be a straight line from the south line of -the -superstructure until it intersects the <br />present street grade at the north line of Bronson Street. -- <br />4. At the intersection of Lafayette Street and the tracks of said Railroad <br />the surface of said street shall be depressed two and one-tenth(2.1) feet below the top <br />of the highest rail of the tracks of said intersection -as now maintained; clearance shall <br />be twelve add one-half (1 1) feet between the surface of the street as fixed above and <br />the superstructure over said street; the grade of the approach of said street north and <br />from the north' 1 ine of the superseture shall be a straight line until it intersects <br />the present street grade at the south line of South Street, and the grade of the approach <br />south from the south line of the superstructure shall be a straight - 1 ine until it inter- <br />secte.the present street grade at Bronson Street. <br />5. At the intersection of Prairie Avenue and the tracks of said railroad <br />the surface of said street shall be depressed six (6) feet and nine (9) inches below <br />the top of the highest rail of the track leading to the studebbker Plant where same <br />r---in.tersects the center Line of said Pra it ie Avenue at the elevation now maintained-, <br />11 clearance shall be twelve and one- half (12-�) feet between the a' irface of the 6treet <br />as f ixed-above and the superstructure of tracks leading to the team yard and Studebaker <br />plant; the grade of the approach of said street. north frail the north line of the su'per- <br />structure carrying tracks to the team yard and the Studebaker plant -shall be an ascending <br />grade of three (3) feet to each one hundred (100) feet; the grade of the approach south <br />from the south line of the superstructure shall be an ascending grade of three (3) feet <br />to each one hundred (100) feet. <br />6. At the intersection of Scott Street and the tracks of said railroad the <br />surface of said street shall be depressed three (3) feet below the top of the highest <br />rail of thetracks at said intersection as now maintained; clearance shall be twelve <br />and one-half (1*) feet between. the surface bf the street as fixed above and the super- <br />structure over said street; the grade of the.approach.of said street north from the <br />north line of the superstructure shall be a:stralght line until it intersects the <br />present grade on.Scott Street at the south line of Dunn Street, and the grade of the <br />approach from the south line of the superstructure shall be a straight line until it <br />intersects the present grade of Scott Street at the north line of Ford Street. <br />7. At the intersection of Chapin Street and the tracks of said railroad <br />the -surface of said street shall be depressed seven (7) feet two inches below:the top <br />of the highest rail of the tracks at said intersection as now maintained;' clearance shall <br />be fifteen feet two inches between the surface of the street as fixed above and the super- <br />structure over said street; the grade of Said street under the superstructure, and for <br />twenty-seven and one.*hlaf (24-) feet each side thereof shall be level; the grade of the <br />approach of said street north shall be an ascending grade of two and one-half (*I feet <br />to each one hundred (100) feet beginning at a point twenty-seven and one half (27-) feet <br />horth of the north line of the superstructure until it intersects the present street <br />grade; and on the south the grade shall be an ascending grade of two and one-half:(2*) <br />feet to each one hundred (100) feet beginning 27� feet south of the south line of the <br />superstructure until it intersects the present grade. <br />
