Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. Mr. A. H. Rice .absent. HeArin.g had on Improvement Resolution No. 466 for Pavement on Lindsey Street from Portage Avenue to Blaine Avenue, In the City of South Bernal, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remonstrances was filed. The Board having said mauler under advisement find that the remonstrance filed this 22nd. day of August 1916 should be sustained and that the resolution should be and the same is hereby and in all things rescinded. Nost remonstrance was against pavement going in before a proper sewer was placed on Lindsey Street.) Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 463 for Resurfacing of La Porte Avenue from Washington Avenue to the north line of Lindsen Avenue, In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and , a written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said 'resolution as orginally adopted; and the same is hereby in all things ratified, c ondftrated and a ppr oved . Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th. day of August 1916 and on the 31st . day of August 1916 in a news naner of general circulation in said City-, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 12th. day of September 1916. The Board reserves the right to regetct any and all bids. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 464- for pipe sewers on Rush Milton Fellow Columbia Carroll Streets, Benton Court and St. Joseph Street from Calvert Street to St. Joseph. Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated c o,t of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as orginally adopted, And the same is hereby in all things ratified, c orf irmed and a ppr oved . Upon sad hearing no remonstrators app eared and no remonstrances were f iled . And the Board be ing fully adv ised in the premises, dec ides that the bene- fits to pr opertyliable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as orgihally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, c onf irmed and approved. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 467 for Gravel pavement, curb and walk on Dubail Avenue from Leer Street to Marine Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. A remonstrator appeared and remonstrated against improvement going in this year. After due onsiderat ion the. Board defer all action until Tuesday March 1916 at 7:45 P.M.
