Board. *,yet in regular mession at 7:4.5 P.M. All member,,- present. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 414 for PipEz sevver on Caroline Street from Southerly line of Lincoln Way East to center liae of Dayton Street, Tn the City of South Bend, Indiana-. Upon said hearinp� no- remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances ivere filed. And the Board being fu?ly advised in the premises, iecic�.es that the bene.'its to property liable to be assessed for sadd improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, nd thereupon taROs final action on said resolution as originally adopted, Lind -t,1ae same is hereby in all t nines ratified, con J_rmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be, published on the 13th. day of iXZ1!1&ry 1916 and on the 20th. day of January 1916 in a newspaper o.- general circulation in said City , sLatixi� Laa.t this Board will receive bids for the construction of' said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 1st. day of February 1916. The Board reserves the right to re jest any and all bids. Atty. Shively and Mr. 'Fulk appeared before the Board and filed a verbal aounp,lalnt in in regard to the condition of the sidewalk. along Aichigan Street in front of theirro erty, cwused by the Trunk sewer being put in at that point. Part of lot 23 Jodon's Sub -Div, of. lots 21 and 22 Denniston & Fellows Add., owned by Ezra& Emma C. Railback, as shown on assessment roll. Rittenger, and rebates were allowed on Part of lot 23 in Jodon's Sub -Div. of lots 21 and 22 Tie niston & Fellova Add. as shown on assessment roll and owned by George and Mary Rulo, a.lso,South 9 ft. of lot 14 and all lot 13 in Jodon's Sub -Div. of lots 21 and 22 Denniston & , Fellows Add. om ed by Louis and Enma E. Fossfelt. The amount deducted being $99.54 and the same to be paid by the City through its Board of Public Works. And all other remonstrances filed,were over- ruled. And the Board now finds ths.+, the several parcels and lots of land as assessed in said Modified roll are specially benefitted in tl+e amounts assessed against them in seAd rodiried assessment roll, and. the Board now approves and confirms in 8,11 things said assess"rpnt roll as above modified. Searing on assessment roll for curb and walk on Ford Street-P-oIii Arnold Street to east end of Ford Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 409. In the City of South Beni, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed Decembr 14th.,1915 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and;the Board further fins that the assessment roll filed December 14th. ,1915, end the final estimate 1.a lowed Decaber 14th.,1915 should be and the same are hereby in all things rattfied, con- firmed and approved.
