4. Advise Owner if additional reports, data, information, or services of the types described in <br />Exhibit B are necessary and assist Owner in obtaining such reports, data, information, or <br />services. <br />5. Perform or provide the following additional Preliminary Design Phase tasks. <br />a. Project Kick -off Meeting <br />1) An initial meeting will be held with persons designated by the Owner and the <br />Engineer. The objective of this meeting will be to introduce those persons who <br />will have principal responsibilities on this Project; and to review in general the <br />obligations of the Engineer and the Owner under this Agreement; including the <br />schedule of work, identify Project priorities and any related redevelopment <br />activities, required procedures for performance of the work, and review all <br />available background information about the work site. <br />2) Key items to be discussed include: <br />a. Identify key personnel of the Owner. <br />b. Identify key personnel of the Engineer. <br />c. Identify the Owner's committee that will be involved in the decision -making <br />processes for the following issues: <br />1) Future Development of the Site <br />2} Project Sequencing and Scheduling Issues <br />3) Legal and Administrative Review Issues <br />4) Technical Review Issues <br />5) Budgetary Constraints/Requirements <br />b) Health and Safety Issues <br />i. Establish the Project schedule and any interim deliverables desired <br />by the Owner. <br />ii. Establish a point of contact for outside agencies having input to the <br />Project. <br />iii. Identify any special formatting requirements desired by the Owner. <br />iv. Establish a progress meeting schedule and typical progress report <br />outline. <br />v. Establish general Health and Safety Procedures for Project personnel <br />to conduct required site visits. <br />b. Determination of Owner Requirements <br />1 } The future use(s) of the site will be identified by the Owner. Based on the future <br />use(s), options will be developed and discussed regarding demolition/ grading <br />requirements. <br />2) These options will include the evaluation of the following: <br />a. Overall Demolition/Excavation Limits. <br />b. Below Grade Removal Requirements for structures and utilities will be <br />determined within the Demolition/Excavation Limits. <br />c.
