South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -December 21, 2007 <br />Franklin to the Commission's efforts in the <br />Studebaker Industrial Park. <br />Mr. King made a motion to approve <br />Resolution No. 2413 approving and <br />accepting a counter offer for the acquisition <br />of property in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. Mr. Downes seconded <br />the motion. The motion carried on a vote of <br />three to one with Mr. Peczkowski opposed. <br />(4) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Title work, Blackthorn Office Park) <br />Mr. Witwer noted that staff requested <br />proposals for title work on thirteen properties <br />in the Blackthorn Office Park. The <br />Redevelopment Authority currently owns the <br />properties. The properties need to be <br />transferred to the Commission for inclusion <br />in the sale of the land for a hotel. <br />Metropolitan Title submitted a proposal to do <br />the work for $600. Staff recommends <br />accepting the offer. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal for title work in the Blackthorn <br />Office Park and accepted the proposal from <br />Metropolitan Title for the scope of services <br />and fee proposed. <br />D. South Bend Medical Services District <br />There was no business in the South Bend Medical <br />Services District. <br />E.
