South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -December 21, 2007 <br />There was no business in the West Washington- <br />Chapin Development Area. <br />F. South Side Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Side Development Area. (Master <br />planning) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Lehman & Lehman <br />has submitted a proposal to perform planning <br />services in the South Side Development <br />Area. The purpose of the planning will be to <br />develop and to find infrastructure concepts <br />and development sites that are being <br />proposed for the four quadrants at the <br />intersection of Ireland and Michigan St. <br />Lehman & Lehman was involved in the <br />original planning for the Erskine Hills <br />shopping district and South Side <br />Development Area and has been involved in <br />several of the developments specific to this <br />planning area. The professional services <br />proposal is in the amount of $7,500. Staff <br />requests approval of the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Lehman & Lehman in the amount of $7,500 <br />for the scope of services proposed. <br />G. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />There was no business in the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area. <br />H. Douglas Road Economic Development Area <br />There was no business in the Douglas Road <br />Economic Development Area. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />LEHMAN & LEHMAN IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500 <br />FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES PROPOSED <br />15 <br />
