South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -December 21, 2007 <br />Ms. Laurent noted that a request for <br />proposals was issued for completion of a <br />Phase I Environmental survey at 118 N. <br />Main St. One proposal was received, that <br />from Grauvogel & Associates for the not-to- <br />exceed amount of $1,570. Staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal for engineering services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area and <br />accepted the proposal from Grauvogel & <br />Associates for the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. <br />(12) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Title work, 511 S. Michigan) <br />Ms. Laurent noted that a request for <br />proposals for title work was issued for the <br />Commission owned parcel at 511 S. Main <br />St., on the Fat Daddy's block. One proposal <br />was received, that from Meridian Title in the <br />amount of $100. Staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal. <br />Mr. Downes made a motion to accept the <br />proposal. Mr. King seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed on a vote of three to one <br />with Mr. Peczkowski opposed. <br />C.
